A Nigerian technology entrepreneur, software developer and the visionary behind SGZ CHAT — a homegrown social platform built on a childhood dream of making digital communication faster, more accessible, user-friendly and affordable.
Originally from Abeokuta North, Ogun State, James grew up in Ikotun, Lagos, where his passion for computing and technology began at the age of nine. His early exposure to basic computing and engineering at Ikeja Computer Village laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to technological innovation.
At the age of 15, he launched his first blog, SGZ Online, which gained recognition as one of Nigeria's fastest-growing blogs at the time. This early success strengthened his ambition to create a Nigerian-built social networking platform capable of competing on the global stage.
Despite the challenges and uncertainties involved, he remained committed to developing SGZ CHAT — a platform designed to offer a fast, user-friendly and data-conscious social networking experience. Through years of dedication, learning and persistence, that vision became reality.
Today, SGZ CHAT has grown into a functioning social platform with users across multiple countries. Its journey reflects James's belief that innovation can emerge from humble beginnings, and that determination, creativity and continuous learning can turn ambitious ideas into tangible achievements.
