By registering an account, browsing, or otherwise using SGZ Chat ("the Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and members of SGZ Chat. SGZ Chat reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

By using the messaging features of SGZ Chat, you acknowledge that messages are stored on our servers and may be reviewed by administrators in cases of reported abuse.
You retain ownership of the original content you post on SGZ Chat. However, by posting content, you grant SGZ Chat a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote your content in connection with operating the platform.
All SGZ Chat branding, logos, software, and design elements are the exclusive intellectual property of SGZ Chat and may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without prior written permission.
Copyright infringement: Do not post content you do not own or have the right to share. Reports of copyright violations will result in content removal and may lead to account suspension.
SGZ Chat respects intellectual property rights and will respond promptly to valid DMCA takedown requests. To file a notice, contact us at [email protected].
SGZ Chat operates an internal virtual currency system called SGZ Coins. Coins are used to access premium features on the platform. The following terms govern earning, holding, and spending SGZ Coins.
SGZ Coins are virtual credits only. They have no monetary value outside the platform and cannot be withdrawn, converted to cash, or transferred to another user's wallet.

No refunds on spent coins: Once SGZ Coins are used to access a feature or service, they are non-refundable. SGZ Chat reserves the right to adjust coin costs, earning rates, and feature availability at any time with reasonable notice.
SGZ Chat reserves the right to deduct, void, or reset a user's coin balance in cases of fraud, manipulation, or violation of these Terms. Any attempt to exploit the coin system — including the use of bots, fake accounts, or referral abuse — will result in immediate account suspension.
ZIZA Market is SGZ Chat's integrated marketplace where users can buy, sell, and promote products and services. All marketplace activity is governed by the following terms:
SGZ Chat is not responsible for disputes arising from transactions between users. We encourage all buyers to verify sellers before making payments.
SGZ Chat offers a Smart Matchmaking feature that uses profile data — including location, age, language, interests, and relationship preferences — to suggest compatible members. By using Matchmaking, you agree to the following:
No relationship guarantee: SGZ Chat is not a dating agency. We provide a connection tool only. Any relationships formed through the platform are entirely the responsibility of the users involved.
SGZ Radio is a free audio streaming feature that allows users to listen to music, SGZ originals, and sponsored advert jingles on the platform. Users may also upload their own audio tracks. SGZ Games is an in-platform gaming feature offering mini-games. The following terms apply to both features:

SGZ Chat reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove SGZ Radio tracks or game sessions at any time without notice or liability.
SGZ Chat offers a Private Account option that restricts non-connected members from viewing your full profile. When enabled, non-connections are shown a locked screen with a connect request option. By activating Private Account, you agree to the following:
Private Account is a privacy tool, not a guarantee of absolute anonymity. SGZ Chat is not liable for any content viewed or shared by connected members who were granted access prior to the feature being enabled.
SGZ Chat reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:
Users may also delete their own accounts at any time from the profile settings page. Upon deletion, all personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Appeal process: If you believe your account was suspended in error, contact us at support@sgzchat.com within 14 days of suspension to submit an appeal.
SGZ Chat provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SGZ Chat's total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to SGZ Chat in the six months preceding the claim.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Before pursuing formal legal action, we encourage users to first contact SGZ Chat directly to attempt an amicable resolution. We aim to respond to all disputes within 5 business days.
Dispute resolution: If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to submit the matter to binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, before pursuing litigation.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
